Drawings
The use of charcoal in my drawings serves as a metaphor for the transience and impermanence of the human experience. Charcoal, a fragile and smudgeable medium, captures the fragility of identity, the fluidity of emotions, and the ever- changing nature of one's sense of self. The spontaneous and expressive nature of my charcoal drawings further emphasizes the ephemeral and elusive nature of the concept of "otherness" that I explore in my artwork.
